"Prophesy" by Jacob Hunter

Prophesy

+Screamo

This is not our time
And this cannot be right
So this is how it ends
One unnecessary fight

Am I in need
Or am I just crazy
Am I in need
Or are we not meant to be

Somehow I knew this would happen
Somehow I fell asleep
Somehow I touched your lips
In my dreams…

+Is it normal to feel this cold
+Is it all my fault
+Are you here in my (eyes)
+Are you just smoldering coal

Run faster than I could be me
Run away from all you can see
I was here but now I’m not
I tried so hard to be…

It’s the prophesy of us
The fallen angel wept
And all I see is me
And I’m here just whispering

I wish I could just die
I wish I could just fall away
From you and me
But I can’t make you stay

Do I need you now
I think I’m over us
I think I’m over you
Drowned by my own love that poured from my insides

Music is my life
And so it goes on playing
Hear this song and hate…
A living sad disgrace

Do I need a someone
Do I need a friend
Do I need you anymore
I say I do ‘til the end

"Say Okay" by Jacob Hunter

Say Okay

Confused
Worlds spinning
Can’t find a conscience
Hint of profanity
Scent of lost dignity
Lonely time wasted
Searching for the world
The answers to the questions
Of the time I lost
I’m missing a heart
Silent love
That time of the year
That begins the eon
It’s a galaxy’s eternity
Falling into an empty pit
(Still falling)
Can we see our own destruction?
Is my heart truly functional?
Or is it under construction
Just say okay
My screaming bloody murder
Enter the void
Of a hundred faces
Kicked up in the dirt
Blood on my face
I killed them all
I’m alone
Just say okay!
Abiding in this building
Asking for forgiveness
My brain is swelling up
No satisfaction in this place
There’s blood
There’s bones
Dried flesh
Undead
I am the living
We are the dead
I’m just searching
For the most significant life
A fresh human body
A worthy soul
I can’t find it
Can you
I’m the one
I did it
Say okay
(Say it)
Just say okay
Flip turn around and see
Unconsciousness is a weakness
My life is a dream
Find a way to dwell in the dark
Absorbed by the lifelessness
In a life of pride and joy
Just say okay

"Plain and Simple" by Jacob Hunter

Plain and Simple

Easy to think, not so for speaking. To explain for simple minds, indescribable. To feel for yourself, unmatchable. This weakness. Shows strength. A heart hidden beneath mist and shadow. Covered in dust. Left to ruins, unmistakable as gone, and lost forever. But predetermined was the being sent from above coming upon a heart buried deep. She took it as her own. Cleaned it off and claimed it recovered. Months of care, months of climbing through troubles, led the woman to realize she had found the key to her heart. To be the hero to save her from her discomfort. To release a certain angel from captivity. And the man the heart belonged to vowed an oath unbreakable. To belong to and to never let go. To love the one who rescued him from the world he knew. And showed him life. He loves her. Plain and simple.
